Sumut III/Medan/Galang Substation is a 500kV substation located in High voltage substation(GITET) Sumut III/Medan/Galang, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
The Sumut III/Medan/Galang Substation project’s construction has begun in 2020. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2022.
Description
Sumut III/Medan/Galang Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by PT PLN (Persero).
The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/275kV and the operating voltage level is 500/275kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 275kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 1000MVA.
