The Sun Ba Power Phase II Combined Cycle Power Plant is 1,100MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Tainan, Taiwan. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2024.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Sun Ba Power.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant.

The project cost is expected to be around $868.8m.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2024.

Contractors Involved

CTCI is expected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Siemens will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company is expected to provide 2 units of SGT6-9000HL turbines.

Siemens will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company is expected to provide 1 unit of SST-5000 turbine.

Siemens is expected to be the supplier of SGen6-2000P electric generator for the project.

Siemens is likely to be the supplier of steam boiler for the project.

Siemens is expected to perform operations and maintenance for thermal power project for a period of 25 years.
