The project is currently owned by DE Shaw Renewable Investments.
Sunlight Road Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 285 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 12,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $53.9m.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Entergy Louisiana under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 50MW.
