Description
The project was developed by Maoneng Group. John Laing Group and Maoneng Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90.1% and 9.9% respectively.
Sunraysia Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 800 hectares.
The project generates 529GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 430,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $208.412m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in November 2020.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to AGL Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 200MW.
Contractors Involved
Decmil Group was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Jinko Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 755,000 modules each with 400W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from Schneider Electric for the project.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
Decmil Group is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
