Description

The project was developed by ConnectGen, EDP Renewables North America and First Solar. ConnectGen and EDP Renewables North America are currently owning the project.

Sunshine Valley Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 745 acres.

The project generates 302,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 23,000 households, offsetting 178,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $163.54m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 100MW.
