Taean Offshore Wind Power_Korea Western Power – Korea South-East Power is a 504MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Yellow Sea, South Chungcheong, South Korea. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2023 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2026.

The project is being developed by Taean Wind Power. Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, Korea South-East Power and Korea Western Power are currently owning the project.
The project is expected to generate 1,588,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 380,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $2,334.88m.
The wind power project consists of 63 turbines, each with 8MW nameplate capacity.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
