Taloro is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 290m. The penstock length is 96.622m. The penstock diameter is 4m. The project generated 300 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 90MW nameplate capacity.
Ercole Marelli Power supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 95 MVA.
