Tana Beles III Sugar Mill Power Plant is a 30MW biopower project. It is planned in Amhara, Ethiopia. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2024 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2025.

The project is being developed and currently owned by Ethiopian Sugar.
The project cost is expected to be around $55.502m.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
