Tapovan Vishnugadh – Kunwari Pass Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 36km from Tapovan Vishnugadh, Uttarakhand, India, to Kunwari Pass, Uttarakhand, India.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.


Tapovan Vishnugadh – Kunwari Pass Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Tapovan Vishnugadh – Kunwari Pass Line project has been approved by the Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission.
