Tashkumyr is a 450MW hydro power project. It is located on Naryn/Syr Darya river/basin in Kyrgyzstan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1985.

Description

The project is currently owned by Electric Stations.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 140 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 58.5m. The project generated 1,555 GWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in 1985.

Contractors Involved

Ukrainian Energy Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 turbines, each with 150MW nameplate capacity.

NPO Elsib supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 176.5 MVA.
