The project is being developed by Eni and Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activites Petrolieres. The project is currently owned by Eni Tunisia with a stake of 50% and Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activites Petrolieres.

Tataouine Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to generate 20,000MWh electricity to offset 260,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $26.003m.
