Tbc Saudi Arabia 1 is a 1,400MW nuclear reactor planned in Saudi Arabia. The nuclear reactor is currently in announced stage.

Tbc Saudi Arabia 1 is a Generation III+ nuclear reactor being developed by State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, the main contractor for the project.

The 1,400MW reactor is currently owned and will be operated by King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy.

It will feature 163 fuel assemblies in the core of reactor, the place where fission occurs and energy is released.

Contractors Involved

Korea Electric Power is expected to be the architect engineer for the reactor. The reactor system is likely to be supplied by State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.
