The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 55 contracts and an 80.9% share
  2. Project Implementation: eight contracts and an 11.8% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and a 4.4% share
  4. Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 2.9% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in Q4 2021

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 32 contracts and a share of 47.1% during Q4 2021, followed by Middle East and Africa with 13 contracts and a 19.1% share and North America with ten contracts and a 14.7% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in Q4 2021

Among the technologies, wind accounted for 19 contracts with a 65.5% share, followed by solar with four contracts and a 13.8% share and hydro with three contracts and a 10.3% share.
