The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 47 contracts and a 71.2% share
  2. Project Implementation: 11 contracts and a 16.7% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: eight contracts and a 12.1% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in Q3 2021

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 30 contracts and a share of 45.5% during Q3 2021, followed by Middle East and Africa with 13 contracts and a 19.7% share and Asia-Pacific with 11 contracts and a 16.7% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in Q3 2021

Among the technologies, wind accounted for 14 contracts with a 50% share, followed by solar with eight contracts and a 28.6% share and hydro with four contracts and a 14.3% share.
