The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 16 contracts and a 61.5% share
  2. Project Implementation: six contracts and a 23.1% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three contracts and an 11.5% share
  4. Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 3.8% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in April 2022

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 14 contracts and a share of 53.8% during April 2022, followed by Asia-Pacific with eight contracts and a 30.8% share and Middle East and Africa with two contracts and a 7.7% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in April 2022

Among the technologies, wind accounted for four contracts with a 57.1% share, followed by hydro with two contracts and a 28.6% share and thermal with one contract and a 14.3% share.
