The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 15 contracts and a 71.4% share
  2. Project Implementation: five contracts and a 23.8% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 4.8% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in June 2021

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with ten contracts and a share of 47.6% during June 2021, followed by Asia-Pacific with five contracts and a 23.8% share and South and Central America with three contracts and a 14.3% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in June 2021

Among the technologies, wind accounted for six contracts with a 50% share, followed by hydro with three contracts and a 25% share and thermal with two contracts and a 16.7% share.
