The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 23 contracts and a 53.5% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 18 contracts and a 41.9% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 4.7% share.
Asia-Pacific leads T&D project activity in July 2022
Comparing contracts activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 37 contracts and a share of 86% during July 2022, followed by Middle East and Africa with four contracts and a 9.3% share and South and Central America with one contract and a 2.3% share.

Solar is leading technology for T&D project contracts in July 2022
Among the technologies, solar accounted for seven contracts with a 43.8% share, followed by wind with six contracts and a 37.5% share and thermal with two contracts and a 12.5% share.
T&D project contracts in July 2022: Top companies by capacity
The top issuers of T&D project contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:
- State Grid Energy Hefeng Coal and Electricity: 300MW from one contract
- China Gezhouba Group (China): 124MW from one contract
- Gansu Fadian (Jinchang) New Energy and Inner Mongolia Jinghai Coal Gangue Power Generation (China): 100MW capacity from one contract.
T&D project contracts in July 2022: Top winners by capacity
The top winners of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:
- China Energy Engineering (China): 1,127MW from seven contracts
- Shanghai Electric Power Construction (China): 700MW from two contracts
- Hebei Engineering (China): 100MW capacity from one contract.
