The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 82 contracts and a 71.3% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 21 contracts and an 18.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 12 contracts and a 10.4% share.
Asia-Pacific leads T&D project activity in Q3 2021
Comparing contracts activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 41 contracts and a share of 35.7% during Q3 2021, followed by Europe with 33 contracts and a 28.7% share and Middle East and Africa with 31 contracts and a 27% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D project contracts in Q3 2021
Among the technologies, wind accounted for 19 contracts with a 45.2% share, followed by solar with 11 contracts and a 26.2% share and thermal with six contracts and a 14.3% share.
