The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 24 contracts and an 88.9% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 7.4% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 3.7% share.

Europe leads T&D project activity in December 2020

Comparing contracts activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with ten contracts and a share of 37% during December 2020, followed by Middle East and Africa with seven contracts and a 25.9% share and Asia-Pacific with five contracts and an 18.5% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D project contracts in December 2020

Among the technologies, wind accounted for four contracts with a 66.7% share, followed by solar with two contracts and a 33.3% share.

T&D project contracts in December 2020: Top winners by capacity

The top winner of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved was:China Gezhouba Group International Engineering (China) with 869MW from two contracts.
