The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 16 contracts and an 80% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 20% share.

Europe leads T&D project activity in May 2021

Comparing contracts activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with eight contracts and a share of 40% during May 2021, followed by Asia-Pacific with six contracts and a 30% share and Middle East and Africa with five contracts and a 25% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D project contracts in May 2021

Among the technologies, wind accounted for eight contracts with a 66.7% share, followed by solar with four contracts and a 33.3% share.

The top issuers of T&D project contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. Arkadikos Ilios I and Arkadikos Ilios II: 50MW from one contract
  2. NHPC (India): 40MW from one contract
  3. Capital Energy SLU (Spain): 20MW capacity from one contract.

  1. China Gezhouba Group (China): 51MW from one contract
