The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 799 tenders and a 71.1% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 311 tenders and a 27.7% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: 12 tenders and a 1.1% share
  4. Supply & Erection: one tender and a 0.1% share.

Asia-Pacific leads T&D project activity in Q3 2019

Comparing tenders activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 895 tenders and a share of 79.7% during Q3 2019, followed by Middle East and Africa with 165 tenders and a 14.7% share and Europe with 54 tenders and a 4.8% share.

Hydro is leading technology for T&D project tenders in Q3 2019
