Description

The project is developed and owned by Vattenfall Wind Power. The company has a stake of 100%.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 960,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households. The project cost is $1,264m.

The turbines installed on the project are using Tubular Steel towers.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2008 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in September 2010.

Contractors Involved

A2Sea and Vestas Wind Systems were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 100 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

ALL NRG and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
