The project was developed by juwi Solar and SUNSELEX. The project is currently owned by SachsenFonds with a stake of 100%.
The Waldpolenz Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 510,000 square meters.
The project generates 52,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,000 households. The project cost is $193.09m.
