Tienlun is a 195MW hydro power project. It is located on Dajia river/basin in Taichung, Taiwan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1952.

Description

The project is currently owned by Taiwan Power.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 590 million cubic meter. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 4 in number. The penstock length is 336.3m. The project generated 557 GWh of electricity.

The turbines for the hydro power project have been supplied by Andritz Hydro, Hitachi Mitsubishi Hydro and Mitsubishi Electric.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Hitachi Mitsubishi Hydro and Mitsubishi Electric.
