By GlobalDataThe project is being developed by Akuo Energy USA, Chermac Energy, NorthRenew Energy, Taaleri Energia and Truscott Gilliland Wind. The project is currently owned by Taaleri Energia with a stake of 7% and Akuo Energy USA.
The project is expected to generate 1,270GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 115,000 households. The project is expected to offset 604,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $450m.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in November 2021.
Power Purchase Agreement
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Nephila Climate are expected to be the power offtakers from the project.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems is expected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Truscott-Gilliland East Wind Project (Truscott-Gilliland East Wind Project-I) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V162-5.6 MW turbines. The phase consists of 45 turbines with 5.6MW nameplate capacity.
Truscott-Gilliland East Wind Project (Truscott-Gilliland East Wind Project-II) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V150-4.2 MW turbines. The phase consists of 20 turbines with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 30 years.
