The project is being developed by Green Power Nishitsugaru Offshore GK. Green Power Investment and Tohoku Electric Power are currently owning the project.

The project cost is expected to be around $2,289.6m. The project will be spread over an area of 46.06km².

The wind power project consists of 60 turbines, each with 8MW nameplate capacity.
