Tyumen Substation is a 500/220kV substation located in Tyumen, Tyumen Oblast, Russia. The construction works on Tyumen Substation began in 2018. The project was commissioned in 2019.
The Tyumen Substation project is an upgrade substation being operated by Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System.
The designed voltage level of the project is 500/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 500/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 1,252MVA.
Tyumen Substation has received approval from Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation to undertake the works on the project. Approximately $112.71m was financed by the authorities for the construction works of the project.
