The project is developed by BJ Power and Perwira Al Shura Consulting Engineers Sdn. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
UITM Gambang Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 110 hectares.
The project generates 80,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 22,000 households. The project cost is $71.425m.
The project consists of 180,000 modules.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.09kWh for a period of 21 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 50MW.
Contractors Involved
ET Energy Solutions and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
BJ Power, ET Energy Solutions, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute and Perwira Al Shura Consulting Engineers Sdn were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
