Uri Phase II is a 240MW hydro power project. It is located on Jhelum river/basin in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2005 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2014.

Uri Phase II is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project are 130m and 118m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock diameter is 5m. The project generated 1,123 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $441.17m.
The project construction commenced in 2005 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2014.
Power Purchase Agreement
Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam are the power offtakers from the project.
GE Power India was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 60MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power India supplied 4 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 67 MVA.
