The project was developed by UTE GNA I Geracao de Energia. BP, Prumo Logistica and Siemens Energy are currently owning the project.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from FSRU BW Magna.
The project cost is $1,163.47m.

Andrade Gutierrez and Siemens were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
