The project was developed by Vale do Parana. Vale do Parana and Albioma are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
