Description

The project is currently owned by Enel Green Power.

The geothermal plant is of dry steam type. The geothermal site has in total 31 number of wells. Out of this 26 are production wells and remaining 5 are injection wells.

The project generates 873.7GWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in July 1991.

Valle Secolo Geothermal Power Plant (Valle Secolo Unit 1) is equipped with Ansaldo Energia turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 60MW nameplate capacity.

Valle Secolo Geothermal Power Plant (Valle Secolo Unit 2) is equipped with Ansaldo Energia turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 60MW nameplate capacity.
