Varsana Substation is a 400kV substation located in Varsana, Gujarat, India.

Description
Varsana Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Gujarat Energy Transmission.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 945MVA.
Varsana Substation project development status
The development of the Varsana Substation project was approved by Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.
