The project is currently owned by Oresundskraft.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 10,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $283.011m.
Vasthamnsverket CHP Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Wood pellets which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
