The project is developed and owned by Grupo Energia Mexico Gemex.
The project generates 454GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 62,302 households, offsetting 177,716t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $236m.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vicente Guerrero Wind Park (Vicente Guerrero Wind Park_I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V136-3.45MW turbines. The phase consists of 6 turbines with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.
Vicente Guerrero Wind Park (Vicente Guerrero Wind Park_II) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V136-3.45MW turbines. The phase consists of 27 turbines with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2019, for a period of 20 years.
