The project was developed by Vinh Tan 1 Power. China Power International Holding, China Southern Power Grid and Vinacomin – Coc Sau Coal are currently owning the project.
It is a steam turbine power plant.
The project generated 7,200,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,750m.
