Vyborg Substation is a 400kV substation located in Vyborg, Vyborg Bay, Russia.
The Vyborg Substation project’s construction has begun in 2019. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.
Vyborg Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400kV and the operating voltage level is 400kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV.
Vyborg Substation project development status
The development of the Vyborg Substation project was approved by Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in 2019. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021. Approximately $0.7m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
