Waipio Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 313 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 13,400 households. The project cost is $103.211m.
The project consists of 210,000 modules.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in September 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Hawaiian Electric under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.104kWh for a period of 22 years. The contracted capacity is 45.9MW.
