The project is developed and owned by Sichuan Wawushan Electric Industrial. The company has a stake of 100%.
Wawushan is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 584 million cubic meter. The project generated 699 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $217.4m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 120MW nameplate capacity.
