Description

The project was developed by Windrise Wind Energy and is currently owned by TransAlta Renewables with a stake of 100%.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 88,000 households. The project cost is $314.465m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 90m high.

Power Purchase Agreement

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 43 units of SG 4.8-145 turbines, each with 4.8MW nameplate capacity.
