Description

The project was developed by Suncor Energy and Teck Resources. The project is currently owned by Teck Resources with a stake of 49%.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 200,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $218.592m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 80m high.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 55 units of 1.6-82.5 turbines, each with 1.6MW nameplate capacity.
