The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 190,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $420.304m.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product, municipal solid waste and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project consists of 1 steam turbine.

AF-Consult was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

ANDRITZ supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 195TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 540Degree Celsius. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 102bar.
