Yamagata Yuza Town Offshore Wind Power Project_Japan Petroleum – Kyuden Mirai Energy is a 484.5MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Sea of Japan, Yamagata, Japan. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.

Description

The project is being developed by Japan Petroleum Exploration and Kyuden Mirai Energy.

The project cost is expected to be around $2,374.05m.

The wind power project consists of 51 turbines, each with 9.5MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.
