Yamaguchi Shin Mine Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1.42 km².

The project generates 66GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 10,000 households. The project cost is $142.307m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to The Chugoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.32kWh for a period of 20 years.

Toshiba Plant Systems & Services was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 173,000 modules at the site.
