The Yanango Substation project’s construction has begun in 2020. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Description

Yanango Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Consorcio TransMantaro.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/220kV and the operating voltage level is 500/220kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 200kV.

The development of the Yanango Substation project was approved by DGE-National Electricity Office in 2020. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

About Consorcio TransMantaro

Consorcio TransMantaro S.A. operates a 603 km, 220 kV transmission interconnection line between the cities of Mantaro and Socabaya in Peru, along the Andean mountains.
