Description
The project is developed and owned by Chubu Electric Power.
The project generates 380GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 120,000 households, offsetting 160,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $205.57m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 1 turbine with 49MW nameplate capacity.
