Yurihonjo is a 700MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Sea of Japan, Akita, Japan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.

The project is being developed by Akita Yurihonjo Offshore Wind GK. Cosmo Eco Power, JR-East Energy Development, Renova and Tohoku Electric Power are currently owning the project.
The project cost is expected to be around $3,430m. The project will be spread over an area of 139km². The turbines will be mounted on a fixed monopile foundation.
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.
Kajima is expected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vestas Offshore Wind will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project.
