Albanesi and its subsidiaries Generacion Mediterranea and Central Termica Roca have raised gross proceeds of $86m in a public offering of notes.

Based in Argentina, Albanesi is engaged in power generation and distribution.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA), JP Morgan Securities, and UBS Securities were the initial purchasers of the notes.

Statnett has issued bonds in a public offering to raise €500m ($615.72m).

Due March 2025, the bonds carry a rate of 0.875%.

The company has engaged Barclays, Danske Bank, Mizuho Financial Group and The Royal Bank of Scotland Group as book-runners for the transaction.

Based in Norway, Statnett is an electric power transmission and distribution (T&D) systems operator.

Brenmiller Energy plans to raise NIS20m ($5.73m) through a public offering of shares.

The company also proposes to issue more shares for NIS3m (around $0.86m) if the offer is oversubscribed.

The company’s founder and owner Avi Brenmiller has agreed to partly subscribe to the shares worth NIS2.5m ($0.72m).

The proceeds will be used for various purposes such as arranging equity for energy-selling enterprises, sales and marketing, forming strategic partnerships and financing activities.

Based in Israel, Brenmiller Energy is engaged in providing sustainable energy solutions to the distributed generation market.

The company has engaged Poalim IBI Underwriting as the underwriter for the transaction.

Modus Energija UAB has agreed to invest €11m ($13.54m) for the development of 12 solarpower plants in Poland.

Modus Energija is focused on renewable energy generation.

ContourGlobal has reached an agreement with Acciona to acquire five solar thermal plants in Spain for €1.09bn ($1.34bn).

The solar plants have a combined installed capacity of 250MW.

Based in the UK, ContourGlobal is engaged in power generation, while Acciona is a Spanish company focused on providing sustainable solutions for infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Red Electrica Corporacion has raised €600m ($738.86m) in a public offering of 1.25% bonds due March 2027.

Based in Spain, Red Electrica is engaged in the operation of electricity transmission grids.

The company has engaged Banco Bilbao (BBVA), Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citigroup, ING Wholesale Banking London, and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group as book-runners for the transaction.

Platinum Equity has reached an agreement with GenOn Energy to acquire the 810MW Hunterstown combined-cycle gas turbine generating power plant and other related assets in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, for $520m.

AOS Energy Partners will also invest in the acquisition and provide consulting services to Platinum Equity.

Based in the US, GenOn Energy is a power generation company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of NRG Energy.

Morgan Stanley has been engaged as financial advisor and Latham & Watkins as legal counsel for the transaction.
