The contract represents Envision Energy’s first net-zero energy project in Brazil.

The partnership between the two companies is intended to hasten Brazil’s transition to renewable energy and reinforce its status as a major player in the global green energy market.

It was formalised at a signing ceremony attended by Envision’s chairman, Lei Zhang, and Casa dos Ventos founder Mário Araripe.

Under this agreement, Envision will deliver its customised 8.xMW Galileo AI wind turbines, which are among the largest single-capacity units used in Brazil.

These turbines incorporate local grid requirements and resources, optimising energy production and project sustainability.

The partnership may extend beyond turbine supply, potentially involving collaboration in digital asset management and integrated solutions for green hydrogen and ammonia.

This could bolster next-generation renewable energy systems across the region.

The agreement builds on a series of high-level meetings and strategic discussions between the two companies.

In May 2025, Zhang met with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva during his visit to China to talk about Brazil’s green energy transition, net-zero industrial parks, and new areas of cooperation such as sustainable aviation fuel and green hydrogen.

In September 2025, Araripe visited Envision to continue talks on promoting net-zero industries.

This partnership aims to introduce Envision’s net-zero technologies into Brazil more systematically, setting new benchmarks for energy transformation across Latin America.

Envision Energy senior vice-president and president of Latin America and the European region Henry Peng said: “Brazil has emerged as a global leader in renewable energy, with clean sources supplying nearly 90% of the country’s electricity. As the government diversifies the energy mix, non-hydro renewables such as wind and solar are becoming a strategic pillar of Brazil’s energy transition.

“As one of the earliest global renewable energy companies to invest in Brazil, our partnership with Casa dos Ventos goes far beyond turbine supply. We commit to explore topics such as AI-enabled, system-level net-zero solutions across wind, AIDC [AI data centres], green hydrogen, energy storage and sustainable aviation fuel.”

In November last year, Envision Energy and GES formed an alliance to expand battery energy storage system (BESS) and wind power projects in Spain and across Europe, with the goal of speeding up the region’s clean energy transition.

The partnership focused on the large‑scale rollout of BESS assets and wind turbine generators, strengthening both companies’ presence in Spain’s renewable energy sector.
