Wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind has signed definitive agreements with Continuum Power Trading (TN) to deliver 250MW of wind power projects in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Inox Wind will supply, install and commission the wind power projects in two phases of 126MW and 124MW. This will be delivered in a combination of 2MW and 3MW turbines.
The company has already initiated the execution of the first phase of the project, after receiving certain advances. It is scheduled to be commissioned by the third quarter of the 2021 fiscal year.
As agreed, Inox Wind will provide Continuum Power with end to end solutions for this turnkey project. It will include construction and commissioning of the project as well as providing long-term operations and maintenance services.
In a stock exchange filing, the company further said: “Common Infrastructure such as 220kV Pooling Substation at Dayapar, 220kV Bay at PGCIL Nirona End, 220kV Transmission Line for 72 km is already ready and the project will be executed on a plug and play basis.”
